Alberta Craft Spirits

Alberta grows some of the finest rye and barley on earth, and for decades most of it was shipped out of the province. When the minimum production rule fell in 2013, small distillers fired up their stills and started bottling that grain right here at home.

Canadian Whisky

By law it has to be mashed, distilled and aged in Canada, for at least three years in small wood. Most distillers age each grain on its own and blend at the end, which is where that famous smooth pour comes from. People still call it rye, after the grain that gives it its spice.

Must Try

The bottles our team keeps reaching for. Don Julio González started making tequila at seventeen, back in 1942, and his Añejo still rests eighteen months in American white oak. Pour it neat and take your time.

Champagne for Celebration

Only sparkling wine from the Champagne region of France can wear the name. The bubbles come from a second fermentation inside the bottle, aged at least fifteen months before release. Prosecco and cava bring the same pop for a lighter price.
